About

A Greater Vancouver CPA firm, providing in-person and remote service

SolidstoneCPA serves businesses, their owners and families across Greater Vancouver and beyond. Meet in person or work with us remotely through secure online document exchange and video calls. Either way, you get careful, well-documented files, strong controls and filings you can rely on.

The firm is led by Chanel Donovan, CPA, CFF, CITP. Chanel is a Chartered Professional Accountant who also holds two specialist credentials from the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA): Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP).

Before founding SolidstoneCPA, Chanel held senior finance roles as a CFO and Controller. That experience shapes how our team works: we understand how the numbers are actually produced, so our advice stays practical, from year-end statements and corporate tax to business structure, estate and succession planning.

Chanel has also built and run a business of her own, a winemaking business, and won first prize in the BC Business Plan Contest (2003), so she understands first-hand what it takes to start and grow a company. She is active in the business community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Delta Chamber of Commerce, and previously served on the Board of Directors of the Point Grey Business Association (2002–2004).
